Last year I photographed a wedding for a lovely lady who works for the Princes Trust, so I was delighted when she asked me to photograph the Prince’s Trust South West Leadership Group event on Wednesday 30th March at the prestigious Merchants’ Hall in Clifton, Bristol.
There were a number of very special guests lined up for the evening. Bristol-based entrepreneur Rob Law, founder of Trunki (www.trunki.co.uk), was speaking at the event about his journey to success and how he was supported by The Prince’s Trust. Also, the Prince’s Trust Ambassador, newsreader and Royal Correspondent, Nicholas Owen was there to talk about his support of The Trust.
The South West Leadership Group is an exclusive network of business leaders and entrepreneurs from the South West who financially support The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme. There was an opportunity to meet some of the young entrepreneurs that The Trust has recently helped into business, including myself! The evening started with a drinks reception where there was a small trade fair of Trust-supported businesses, followed by the guest speakers. It was a memorable evening and I was so happy to be involved and to help an organisation, which has helped me with my photography business in so many ways.
